Just had to say a big thank you to all, for such a perfect day, not one tiny thing could we fault –“Perfection”. You are such a hard working fun team to be around, nothing was too much & everything with a smile, friendly and professional attitude. We had many guests (if not all) say what wonderful staff and venue, and many commenting on how the food was exceptional. Once again many thanks for making our Daughter and now Son-in law Wedding day filled with happy memories. My Daughter said “Mum it couldn’t have been more perfect”.
Thank you all for making our special day everything we had hoped for. You were all fabulous and helped us and all our guests feel very relaxed. We had a brilliant day and cannot thank you all enough.

I just had to write and thank you, as mother of the bride, for helping to make my daughter Sarah and her new husband Scott’s wedding day on Thursday, 28th July, so perfect. I know you didn’t arrange the beautiful weather but the ceremony, wedding breakfast and reception party in the evening were all down to you and were absolutely perfect. From the point that Sarah and Scott started looking for a venue we were impressed with the professionalism, but also equally the friendliness, we were shown. Ye Olde Plough was the first and only place they looked! Everyone, we have had contact with, has been helpful beyond the call of duty and all our questions or concerns were answered with the confidence that put our minds to rest. The food was beautiful and so plentiful! (However, we knew that would be good because we have been to your Sunday lunches!) So a massive ‘thank you’ to the cook. Also the disco and the photographer they used were on your recommendation and were both excellent. A particular thank you must go to Franca for presenting the wedding package initially to the couple back in January and to Trudy and Jane who were also on hand to offer help and advice whenever necessary. A special thanks to Mark and Gemma for their part on the day. Also, for everyone involved behind the scenes, from the discrete team serving our meal, those moving furniture, cleaning the venue and our rooms, keeping the grounds so beautiful, the reception team, those serving breakfast the next morning and anyone else I may have forgotten! Thank you for sharing part of one of the loveliest and most memorable days of my life!
You were kind and ready with helpful suggestions when we came to make the arrangements. Trudi and all her team were very helpful and efficient on both days. All this week we have been receiving cards and letters, e-mails and telephone calls telling us how much everyone enjoyed the venue, the food and drink, and the service last weekend. We are already looking for excuses to have another celebration at the Plough House.
Just a quick thank you for all your help planning our Wedding and on the day, everyone was very helpful and accommodating it was much appreciated. The food everything was lovely.
I would like to thank you all for your efforts on behalf of my Mother on her 103rd Birthday. We could not have asked for a nicer meal of better service from start to finish by all the waiting staff. To say my Mother was overwhelmed is to put it mildly. Once again thanks to you all.

I’ve had so many of our guests tell us what a fantastic day they had, commenting on the great food, the attentiveness of your staff and also the stunning location. Just a short note to say thanks to everyone who was involved in my 60th Birthday dinner, held in Elona’s on Saturday 2nd April. The food, wine, service and the atmosphere created in the restaurant made it a memorable evening for myself and my guests.
We just wanted to say thank you for all your help and efforts in making our Wedding day so special. The day went without a hitch, everybody loved the food and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We can’t thank you enough.
My Wife and I have today attended the Christmas Lunch with the Rat Pack Tribute, and would like to say how much we enjoyed the event.
Full praise must be given to the staff who were very efficient, the food was served quickly and was hot, and the portions were very generous.
Just a quick note to thank you all at Ye Olde Plough House for making Jodie & Daves day special. From the moment Jodie and I checked into the venue on Friday night to when the last of us left Sunday lunch time everything was perfect. The meal was delicious in fact so many of our guests commented on the fact that the beef was perfection. The staff were very professional and friendly, and the bar staff were efficient very approachable and friendly.
We would not hesitate recommending your venue for anybodies special occasion. Jodi and Daves day will be remember in its entirety for all the right reasons.
Following our visit to you on 21st November for Sunday Lunch, I would like to commend you on your very capable and courteous staff. We were seated immediately as we entered the restaurant and were looked after from then on, until we left, after having a very nice three course meal. I will be visiting again and have already recommended you to several friends.
We were both so pleased to have our Wedding Reception in The Cavalier Suite. We want to thank all the staff for a lovely meal, for setting the tables beautifully, for everything running smoothly and for all the help in the lead up to our big day. We also enjoyed our stay in the modern bridal suite and a lovely breakfast in the morning.
Thanking you and all your staff for making our day so wonderful. Everything went to plan and couldn’t have been better. All our guests enjoyed themselves and could not complement enough on the meal, and the pleasant staff.
I wanted to drop a quick line to say Thank you to all the staff for making last nights Prom a wonderful night for our boys. They had a great time!!
I wanted to write and thank you and the whole Ye Olde Plough House team for the fantastic service that we received on Sunday 6th June when we had a family lunch party with you. This was a joint 80th birthday lunch, my mother is extremely frail and as she suffers from Alzheimers she can be very difficult at times. Your staff were absolutely brilliant, caring and discrete. We were al very pleased with the quality of the food bit it was your staff and the service that made the day.
We would just like to say a massive thank you to all that were involved in our wedding. The booking process was easy and stress free and very clear about what would go on, on the day of the wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, there was nothing that went wrong and we were very pleased with the organisation and smooth running of the day. The staff were very helpful, polite and professional in every aspect throughout the whole day. The food was sensational, everyone in our party reported back to us on how much they enjoyed it and the service was excellent. We were made to feel welcome and comfortable throughout the whole correspondence with the Ye Olde Plough House and we also thank you very much for that.
