Basil, Sybil and Manuel cordially invite you to join them at Fawlty Towers for an evening you will never forget. It is the grand opening of Basils Gourmet Evenings and everything is prepared. What could possibly go wrong….? As the guests are being settled in the restaurant, the new breaks ‘Lockdown’ with immediate effect. But the evening has cost a fortune, so Basil decides to ignore the newsflash and an evening of hilarity ensues. Guest decontamination, hazmat suits, health inspectors, the police and of course, not forgetting, the rationing of toilet paper can all be expected in this evening of calamitous hilarity. And remember, if anyone asks, it was a ‘Business Meeting’… This fully immersive and interactive show is professionally produced and family friendly, half scripted and half improvised by the actors. The audience will very much be a part of the evening

All guests are required to pre order meals 21 days in advance

  • All events are all payable in full on booking and monies are non-refundable & non-transferable
  • Groups over 15 will be required to pre-order their meals seven days in advance
  • If your party numbers reduce once monies have been paid, then monies for those guests will be non-refundable
  • If you wish to cancel your booking, the venue must be notified in writing, and the payment will be retained by the venue.
  • Some guests may have special dietary requirements and we will do our utmost to accommodate them (the venue must be notified 3 weeks prior to the event) the menu’s published in the brochure and on the website are set and menu options can not be substituted.
  • The venue reserves the right to change menus, if necessary without prior notice.
  • All details are correct at the time of going to print but may be subject to change without prior notice.
  • Ye Olde Plough House accept no responsibility whatsoever for guests property whilst on the premises, inside or outside of the building.
  • All bars will close at 11.45pm, all drinks must be consumed within 45 minutes after the bar closing time.
  • Smart casual dress is a minimum requirement on all events. No ripped jeans or trainers.
  • The management of the venue reserve the right to refuse entry to the venue. In addition the venue reserves the right to charge the organiser, company or individual for any damages caused by unreasonable behaviour. Ye Olde Plough House operates a zero tolerance policy to unsociable behaviour to other guests and employees.
  • In the event of Covid 19 should the venue be unable to hold the event due to Government restrictions all monies will be refunded minus a £2.50 per person booking fee or the full amount can be return onto a credit voucher valid for up to 1 year.
