We offer Dry hire in our Cavalier Suite for private parties this holds a maximum of 150 guests (76 seated). From 6pm – 12pm. Our dry hire prices do not include the use of a Kitchen all catering must be prepared off site or a mobile kitchen is permitted.

Our dry hire package includes:

Tables & Chivari Chairs with cream seat pad | Use of outdoor seating area (carpark) no access to rear gardens | Free Car Parking

All linen, crockery and staff (excluding bar staff) need to be supplied by your caterers. An agreement will need to be signed upon arrival and departure to confirm all facilities are left clean and tidy. You are required to use our bar and not permitted to bring any own soft or alcoholic drinks. A minimum spend of £1000.00 is required this needs to be paid 21 days prior to the event.

Please be aware our venue is not an exclusive venue we will still be hosting other events in our other rooms however this will not impact your event, we have 65 accommodation rooms available to hire please see the Events team for more information.

We require a £300 holding deposit to be paid by the client which will be returned within 3 days after your event, less any damages or cleaning costs incurred with holding deposit. The function room & outdoor space are to be returned as found.

All caterers must provide Food Hygiene rating certificate. All suppliers must have public liability insurance certificate (to the value of 5 million) along with Appliance test certificates prior to them being permitted to work on Ye Olde Plough House Premises. All electrical equipment must have been Pat tested. Failure to provide the relevant documents may result in refused access.

  • A provisional booking can be held for 7 days
  • After 7 Days a £500.00 deposit is required to confirm the booking
  • All Deposits are non refundable or transferable
  • Final Balances are due 21 days prior to the event monies are non refundable or trans-ferable
  • In the event of a cancellation within 3 months of the function by you, the Ye Olde Plough House will be permitted to recover its estimated losses. These will be based on the information provided at the time of booking. At 3 months notice but not less than 1 month—50% of the total estimated bill. At one months notice or less the full payment is required
  • Guests are not permitted to bring their own food or drink with the exception of one celebration cake.
  • Guests are required to supply their on serviettes for the cake
  • We do not allow banners, bunting or posters attached to the walls.
  • We do not allow any outside suppliers for Light up letters/numbers, Doughnut Walls, Sweetcart, Flowerwalls, Starlight Backdrops, Sequin walls etc as we provide this service in house - you are welcome to supply your own table decorations, balloons etc and anything else we do not offer in house.
  • The venue will not allow access earlier than 6pm
  • The Ye Olde Plough House suggest that you should consider taking an appropriate in-surance policy to insure your Event in the event of cancellation.
  • All Party packages must have an evening buffet for a minimum of 100% of your total guests attending the evening.
  • The Ye Olde Plough House cannot accept responsibility for the loss of gifts and/or any property left in public areas. All function rooms need to be cleared at the end of the evening of any such items. Any unclaimed property will only be kept for a period of 7 days
  • Ye Olde Plough House hereby inform you that if any of your guests require reservations for our overnight accommodation that our hotel rooms are let on a first come first served basis and we therefore suggest, to avoid disappointment that you inform your guests that early booking is advisable, to secure their overnight room. Please also be advised that payment for these rooms will be required in full when a reservation is made
